Equality and Inclusion Report highlights progress towards equality of opportunity and educational access

The °®Æï¼§ of London has published its Equality and Inclusion Report for 2023–24. The report highlights the university’s progress as it builds on its founding principles of equality of opportunity and educational access for all.

The report showcases institutional activities that are embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion at the °®Æï¼§. These efforts support the university vision: “to continue to build on the founding ideals of inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration of the °®Æï¼§ of London and to champion inclusive cultures, structures, and journeys to enable our collective expertise and strengthen our connections and collaborations nationally and worldwide.â€

Craig Hassall, Chair of the Equality and Inclusion Committee, said: 

“Inclusivity has been at the heart of the °®Æï¼§ of London since its inception. The °®Æï¼§ has lived these values with its groundbreaking admission of underrepresented students all those years ago and continues today with a commitment to diversity and inclusion in all forms in London and across the world. This report showcases the impact we have created through embracing our values, our actions, and our aspirations in this field and we are so proud to share it with you.â€

Dr Arun Verma, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, added:
